Attractions for 2026

Get Ready for Adrenaline-Fuelled Action: Extreme Bike Battle Comes to Stokesley Show 2026!

We’re thrilled to reveal the headline attractions for Stokesley Show 2026 — and it’s a big one (in fact, it’s two!).

The Extreme Bike Battle fuses multiple disciplines together for the ultimate adrenaline-fuelled show. Witness jaw-dropping stunts from world-class performers as they push their limits to deliver spectacles you won’t forget!

Double the Display, Double the Thrills

As if one display wasn’t enough, Stokesley Show 2026 will host two completely different Extreme Bike Battle displays in two separate rings — so there’s even more high-octane action to catch on the day.

Main Ring: FMX & Extreme Stunt Quad

In the Main Ring, Freestyle Motocross (FMX) combines with Extreme Stunt Quad for an unmissable spectacle:

  • Watch the stunt quad dart around the arena performing wheelies and front-flip rolls
  • Hold your breath as FMX riders launch a colossal 20-metre gap jump between two ramps

and the BMX Jump Ramp Display

Over in their own dedicated arena, our BMX display team will host an epic show running throughout the day. Expect:

  • Gravity-defying backflips
  • Wild airborne manoeuvres that won’t fail to impress

With two areas running their own non-stop action, there’ll be plenty of chances to catch a show wherever you are on site.

Additional Attractions Confirmed

Farlavale Dogs display is back for 2026

Who are FarlaVale?

FarlaVale is a family-run business founded by husband-and-wife team Ryan and Alison Kay, based between York and Harrogate. Both are Royal Kennel Club Accredited Instructors in Working Gundogs — a distinction held by just 15 instructors in the whole of the UK! Ryan is also a Royal Kennel Club A-Panel Field Trial judge and writes regularly for sporting magazines including Shooting Times and Gundog Journal.

You may well have seen them in action before — their displays are a firm favourite at shows across the country, are a staple of the Stokesley Show!

What to expect

From spaniels flushing cover to Labradors delivering picture-perfect retrieves, Ryan and Alison’s display tells the whole story of how a working gundog is made — from a young pup taking its very first steps in training, right through to Field Trial winning dogs performing at the top level.

Highlights include:

  • Hunting and retrieving demonstrations with a range of gundog breeds
  • Whistle work, directional handling and steadiness — precision teamwork between dog and handler
  • Simulated shoot-day scenarios brought to life in the arena
  • Live commentary from Ryan throughout, so you’ll understand exactly what’s happening and why

One for all the family

Whether you’re a seasoned gundog enthusiast or you’ve simply always wondered how these remarkable dogs learn their craft, this display is designed for everyone. It’s fun, fascinating and full of heart — and a wonderful celebration of the countryside skills at the very core of Stokesley Show.

Also coming along in 2026 are

Aldabra Giant Tortoises

They were such a hit last year that we simply had to invite them back! We’re thrilled to announce that the Aldabra Giant Tortoises will once again be joining us at Stokesley Show on Saturday 19th September 2026.

Gentle giants of the showfield

Cared for by Adrian Graham, who looks after the UK’s largest privately held group of these remarkable creatures, the tortoises travel from Lincolnshire to meet visitors at shows across the country — and they never fail to draw a crowd.

Get up close

These gentle giants are one of the largest tortoise species in the world, and visitors are welcome to come along, say hello, and ask plenty of questions. The team loves sharing their knowledge — whether you keep a tortoise yourself, are thinking about it, or just fancy meeting a real-life living relic from a bygone age.

And there is more……
Welcome back to Whitby Falconers!

Meet the birds

The Whitby Falconers offer a fantastic static display where you can get truly up close to some of nature’s most magnificent hunters — owls, hawks, falcons and more. And it’s not just about looking: visitors are invited to handle the birds themselves, making for a truly memorable encounter (and a brilliant photo opportunity!).

Feathers and scales

Alongside the birds, the team also bring along a selection of reptiles to meet — so whether you’re drawn to talons or tails, there’s something to fascinate the whole family. The falconers are always on hand to chat, answer questions, and share their knowledge of these incredible creatures.

Pop along, say hello, and come eye to eye with a bird of prey — an experience you won’t forget.

Every year some 20,000 visitors flock to the Show, with over 5,000 entries throughout the showground, it is a time to compete, meet old friends and new and celebrate.

Whilst agriculture is at the heart of the Show, there is something for everyone, entertainment, shopping, demonstrations and competitions taking place throughout the showground, so don’t hesitate to come and enjoy the day.
