Stokesley Show always has an array of trade stands. We aim to provide something for everyone, from a new tractor or car, or perhaps a log burner. From financial investments to take-away gins and sweets for the kids! We offer a range of pitch sizes and locations to suit your business.

When can I access the Showfield to set up?

You can start to set up any time from the Thursday before the show. If access is required before this
day, please contact the Tradestands Admin Team or the Show Secretary. Please note, Stokesley
Show will not be held responsible for any losses for anything left on the showfield.

When can I start to take my stand down and what is the deadline for taking down?

You can commence dismantling your stand from 5pm on Show-day and vehicle limited movement
commences again from 5pm – please be aware that the showfield events are still taking place at this
time. You must have your stand removed from the showfield in full by 5pm on the Monday following
the Show. Any requests for access to the field outside of these times must be strictly agreed prior to
attending the site, please contact the Tradestands Admin Team or Show Secretary.

What is the location of the Showfield?

The postcode to use for the Showfield is TS9 5JL (not the town centre itself)

Are there any power or electric points provided?

We do not provide any electric hook ups. Any power source required, must be provided by yourself.
Only small, quiet generators are permitted and at your own expense and risk, all appliances must be
of good repair, this is the tradestand applicant’s responsibility.

Can I stay on site overnight?

If you wish to stay in your stand space or vehicle overnight in the days leading up to the show, you
must contact Tradestands Admin Team and the Show Secretary for permission, prior to attending
site. Please also make your presence known to Security on site on your arrival.

Where is my pitch located?

You will receive your Traders pack approx. 10 days before the show, this will contain a site plan. Your
pitch reference will be detailed on here. This corresponds to a number pitch on the field, determined
by rows A through to G and sub-noted as either 1s or 2s (1s face towards the main ring, 2s face
towards the town)

Payments and Public Liability evidence

You must have obtained and provided evidence of your Public Liability insurance prior to the event –
this must detail your Trading name, the insurance company the cover is through, expiry date and
indemnity limit, in the format of either an Insurance schedule and/or Certificate. It must also cover
the period of the show, from when you attend site, to when you leave. If you are unable to provide
this, you will not be granted access to the Showfield and will forfeit your pitch fee. Your insurance
documentation must also be available to view, if requested, on Show-day.

What can I bring to go on my Stand?

You are more than welcome to bring marquees, gazebos, tables etc, we just ask that guide ropes etc
are all contained within your allocated space (eg 4m frontage x 9m deep). Only our food concession
vendors may charge for food and drinks to be consumed on-site. You may provide free samples for
foods to be consumed off-site (eg. Pre-packed foods) and complimentary light refreshments only, for
no charge. Exhibitors providing light (free of charge) refreshments on their stand are reminded that
they must conform to the requirements of the Food Hygiene Regulations.

What do I do with rubbish from my Tradestand?

No flyers or balloons are to be distributed to the general public either on the Showfield or Car Parks.
It is the responsibility of each tradestand holder to dispose of ALL waste/rubbish that is generated.
Rubbish MUST NOT be left on the tradestand pitch, limited skips are present on site. All tradestand
pitches must be left in a clean and tidy condition, including the filling in of holes, and sites must be
completely cleared by 5pm Monday following the show. If excessive amounts of litter or other
refuse is left on site after the Show, a charge will be made to cover the cost of removal and of
making good any damage. Please remember this field will be grazed by Livestock when the show is
over.

I’d like to offer a Show-day Discount or promotion to Members of your Show on my Tradestand, what do I do?

Please contact the Tradestands Admin Team, who will be able to assist with announcing and/or
advertising your promotion either prior to, or on the day of the event.

Is there Security present?

Security does patrol the showfield periodically from the Monday before the show and Security is
24Hr from Thursday before the show until the Monday morning, after the show. However, neither
the Show Society nor the Security Firm, can take any responsibility for any theft, damage or
vandalism that may occur on the showfield.

How many Exhibitor passes and parking passes do I get?

This is detailed on your Booking application – the standard allowances for vehicle and person passes
are given for your stand size. Require some more passes for people or vehicles, just contact our
Admin Team and they will be able to assist.

Is there WiFi provided?

There is specific business transaction WiFi for all Tradestands and Catering concessions – if you have
not received the passcode on Showday, please head to the Secretary’s office, in the middle of the
Showfield and you will be able to obtain this.

Do you provide water on the Showfield for Tradestands?

Water to individual stands is not provided but water is available from standpipes located around the
Showground.

Does the Show provide any marquees or stands for the outdoor grass pitches?

For the Outdoor grass pitch Tradestand space there are no marquees, stands or equipment provided
as standard. Bespoke requests may be made for marquees, but these must be booked and paid for
immediately, via our Admin Team.

Can I have my vehicle(s) on the showfield?

You will receive a vehicle pass for your stand, determined by your stand size. All grass pitches are 9m
deep as standard and are a minimum of 4m wide, so there should be ample room for your vehicle
behind your stand, keeping within the boundary of your pitch.

Do I need a TENS alcohol licence?

If you are selling or serving alcohol you require your own TENS licence, even for free-samples and
sealed bottles. Exhibitors are also responsible for ensuring that no alcohol is obtained by anyone
under 18 years of age and adhere to the Challenge 25 regulations. Details of our DPS can be obtained from the Admin Team. If you require a W3W for your pitch for the TENS application, please
ask the Admin Team, which can provide this for you. We will require a copy of your granted TENS
licence prior to your attendance of the Show, all licences and certificates must be available for
inspection on Showday, if requested. If you are unable to provide this either prior to, or on the day
of the Show, you will not be granted access to the Showfield and will forfeit your pitch fee. 

I need to cancel my pitch, what do I do?

You must notify the Tradestands Admin Team and Show Secretary immediately by email or phone.
Please refer to your Terms and Conditions document.

I’d like to use a Drone on the Showfield, can I do this?

The use of drones on any part of the Showground is strictly prohibited.
