We’re delighted to welcome Jon Appleby, Head Chef at Middlesbrough College, to Stokesley Show this September for a live food demonstration celebrating the best of local produce.

A Career Built in the Region’s Top Kitchens

Jon has spent many years working in some of the region’s top restaurants, building a career rooted in skill and passion for great food. He’s also a familiar face on the demo circuit, having appeared as a demo chef at major food festivals across the area, bringing his expertise and love of cooking straight to festival-goers.

Inspiring the Next Generation

These days, Jon is Head Chef at Middlesbrough College, where he’s passing on his wealth of catering knowledge to the next generation of chefs. He also takes the reins of the college’s on-site Waterside Brasserie, and clearly enjoys every bit of sharing what he’s learned with his students. He also spends time at the award-winning Durham Ox in Cryake as a Chef Consultant.
