We have welcomed our President already on our blogs this year, but we wanted to share a little more about him! Hello again to Paul Russell.
Paul is the CEO of Malton-based Russells a long-term supporter of the Stokesley Show.
Russells is a leading farm machinery, professional groundcare equipment and arboricultural equipment supplier with 12 outlets across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. It has expanded during Paul’s tenure as CEO, increasing its number of branches from four to 12 following the purchase of Hallmark Tractors and the addition. of the businesses’ groundcare and arboriculture equipment divisions, which most recently saw the launch of GHS, a new national groundcare hire business. Russell’s now employs more than 250 staff.
Paul joined Russells in 2011 after 10 years working in asset finance with ING Farm Finance. During his time with ING Paul covered a number of roles, culminating his appointment as a local director.
Paul follows in the footsteps fo his father John who is a past President of the show.
In addition to his work wit Russell Paul is also heavily involved with the Yorkshire Agricultural Society where he recently taken over as Chairman of Trustees.
Paul is married to Louisa and they have two sons, George and Harry and live just outside York.
