A Passion for Local and Sustainable Ingredients
Chris’s approach to cooking is rooted in his love for locally produced and sustainable ingredients. He believes that every dish should not only taste incredible but also support local farmers, producers, and the environment. This philosophy was evident at the Living North Food Festival, where Chris introduced a range of chutneys that became an instant hit among attendees.
In 2024, Chris was a finalist in the Deliciously Yorkshire Awards for “Best Local Produce Used on a Menu,” a recognition that highlights his dedication to showcasing the best of Yorkshire’s produce. His television appearance on Channel 4’s “Yorkshire by the Sea” allowed audiences across the nation to witness his talent and passion firsthand.
Chris has also been a prominent voice in the local food scene.
