Did you know we offer financial support, bursaries and donations to local good causes and individuals? We are proud of this work and over the last 20 years we have donated over £15,000.

2006 – Bursary to an individual student to attend the Institute of Agricultural Management Leadership Programme
2010 – Askham Bryan for 50 bricks to the Learning Resource Centre
2011 – Stokesley Scouts and Guides JMC towards fitting out the Scout hut with a new kitchen
2011 – An individual to climb up Kilimanjaro Challenge to raise funds for Schoolchildren and deprived young people from Kenya
2011 – Stokesley Pride In Our Town towards a replacement Ziggurat and Diamond Jubilee Celebrations
2012 – Women’s Land Army tribute appeal donation towards a Statue of a Land Army Girl at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire
2014 – A donation to a Veterinary Trainee Nurse at Stokesley Vets
2015 – West Auckland Castle (J Ruffer President’s chosen charity).
2016 – Kildale Show after suffering a wet year which allowed them to continue the following year.
2017 – A Armstrong Richardson employee who climbed Kilimanjaro to raise funds for Aeoplastic Anaemia (type of Leukaemia)
2017 – Hutton Rudby Primary School new play area to be used by the School and local Scouts and Guides
2018 – A student who was studying Rural Enterprise and Land Management course at Harper Adams
2018 – A young student who is studying to attain a BSc in Agriculture at Newcastle University
2018 – Leven District Scout Council for several Scouts to attend a jamboree for World Scouts.
2020 – Thirsty Thursday Defibrillator campaign in Stokesley
2021 – A student was awarded to support her study at Newcastle University for Countryside Management
2022 – A donation to the North Eastern Holstein Young Breeders towards a weekend rally for over 180 young members in the North East to meet and progress their knowledge.
2024 – This year three bursaries were awarded.
- A BSc Hons student in Agriculture looking to specialise in Agromony at Harper Adams University.
- A student completing his Level 3 in Land management at Askham Bryan College.
- And another Askham Bryan College student studying to complete her Level 3 T Level in animal Management
2025 – This year the bursary has been awarded to a local individual to is fundraising to attend an international trip with the Rangers (Guides and Scouts)
