STOKESLEY SHOW 2024 – IS ON SCHEDULE TO BE THE BIGGEST AND BEST YET!

Opening the Show to the public at 8.00 am will be the Kirbymoorside Town Brass Band, where they will march through the High Street and culminate at gate 4 to be greeted by our President Mr John Fletcher.

All 3 Rings will have started Judging and the timetables can be viewed herein the website.  Competitors will travel from as far away as Cornwall and up to Scotland, with competition fierce and prizes galore to win and those precious qualifiers to have.

In our marquees competition is also strong, some of the handicrafts have taken a year to make, cakes made within the last 24 hours or a painting taken several weeks.  Livestock classes have breeding programmes which are planned meticulously in the hope of a good match.  So whether you like Horses, Cattle, Sheep or Goats, perhaps the Alpacas are for you, or you love a ferret, rabbit, pigeon or poultry or the dog with the waggiest tail, we have something for you.  Not forgetting the Dairy Produce, Handicrafts, Farm Produce or Horticulture, and for those mechanically minded we have the Vintage Machinery why not have a look at the schedule of classes perhaps you could enter too,  there is room for all and with a prize fund of over £30,000.00 there are awards aplenty.

This year we will once again have our magnificent “Scrumptiously Stokesley” food hall with something for everyone.  A Craft marquee with local high quality items which are of the highest standard and some unusual ones, ideal for those presents for hard to buy for people or perhaps a treat for yourself.

Our Trade stands this year have been re-vamped there will be your usual favourites plus many new ones which will offer something for all ages and for all interests.  Particularly for those Agricultural Farmers we will have a selection of Tractors sizes to suit all budgets with the accompanying implements.  So if you are looking for essentials have birthday and Christmas presents to buy or a treat for yourself we are sure to have something of interest for you with our Trade stands.  Not forgetting the Craft marquee where local crafts people have been beavering away to make the ideal gift.

Our Cookery Theatre will once again be situated at the back of the food hall with demonstrations from local top chefs throughout the day, more details to follow.

Children can once again have a go at diggerland, who doesn’t want to be a JCB driver!

The MAIN RING ATTRACTION will be The Squibb Freestyle Stunt Team.  

JAMIE SQUIBB FREESTYLE, motorbikes careering through the sky, performing dare devil routines sure to satisfy all onlookers. 

Jamie Squibb was British Motocross Freestyle Champion three times and has since developed his own portable ramps, enabling him and his stunt partner to bring their amazing display to you. 

You will see radical airborne motorcycle aerobatics and ground based stunts, with the biggest and best moves and tricks you are ever likely to see. Team reach dizzy heights as they launch themselves skywards to land over 30 metres away on the lorry based landing ramp. 

Most recent ventures for the Team was another invitation to entertain the crowds at the Goodwood Festival of Speed; taking part in the Masters of Dirt competition in Austria and competing in the World Championships at the O2 in London. 

The Stunt Team are a very popular display and entertain crowds all over the Country.

Jamie always saves the biggest and best moves and tricks for the finale leaving the crowd yelling for more.

 

Ring 3 will see Ryan Kay and his Farvadale gun dogs doing displays and offering you knowledge to take home and try with your dog.

Most importantly there will be food outlets with something for all tastes, we have sourced the best value stands to eed the family.  Plus licensed bar outlets with your favourite tipple or that soft drink to satisfy your tastebuds.
